SHUT-OFF VALVES

Forged Steel, Non Back-Seating Design

The function of a Forged Steel Shut-Off valve is to provide an

isolation or connection point in liquid and gas applications where

brass valves are not compatible or do not meet the pressure

requirements.

Applications

Henry Technologies' Shut-Off Valves are used in a variety of air conditioning

and refrigeration applications for isolating, flow control, charging and purging.

The 776 and 777 series Shut-Off Valves are suitable for use with ammonia,

HCFC and HFC refrigerants and their associated oils, as well as other

industrial fluids non-corrosive to steel and synthetic rubber.

Technical Specifications

Maximum working pressure = 1000 PSI (68.9 Bar)

Allowable operating temperature = -20°F to +300°F (-29°C to +149°C)

Materials of Construction

The valve body is made from forged steel. The stem is made from plated

steel. A metal-to-metal seat seal is used. A graphite compound is used for

the packing gland. The seal cap is made from molded plastic.
